Monday Dispatch: Will We Still Be Masking in 2022?

Neither cold weather nor an airborne pandemic will keep people from lining up outside Supreme on Bowery and Spring.

Dr Anthony Fauci told CNN we’re likely to still be wearing masks in 2022 to protect ourselves from Covid-19 even though he believes that by the end of 2021 “we’re going to have a significant degree of normality beyond the terrible burden that all of us have been through over the last year.” (CNN)

Brooklyn resident Eric Norman, 29, was arrested by the FBI in Florida on Saturday, accused of being the ringleader in the armed robbery of Chanel’s SoHo location earlier this month, during which approximately $200k of merchandise was snatched off shelves in front of customers and staff.
