Some long-anticipated good news: Balthazar will finally be reopening on Wednesday March 24th, just two days past a year since Keith McNally closed it due to the pandemic.
They will be doing delivery and pickup, the bakery will be open, and dinner service will be from 5 to 10 p.m., both indoors at 50% capacity and outdoors, with 100 seats along Crosby and Spring. Regular lunch hours are still on hold, but brunch will be served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They’re already taking reservations via Resy and over the phone at (212) 965-1414, so if you’ve been missing them this past year, you should probably sign up now before Spring weather hits and their outdoor seating becomes the hottest ticket downtown.
