This year’s pandemic edition of NYC Restaurant Week has adapted to our current conditions by making the meals to go: each meal is $20.21 and can be ordered for pickup or delivery via the restaurant’s own website or participating apps. No having your heart broken by being unable to secure reservations over the next few weeks, you have till February 28 to try as many meals as you like, and perhaps best of all, the restaurants are having their participation fees waived. Bonus: if you pay with a Mastercard (after registration)—you can get $10 back for every $20.21 takeout order at select restaurants.
A total of nineteen restaurants in SoHo, Little Italy, and Nolita are participating in 2021, with a healthy mix of establishments both old and new to our area, and many cuisines to choose from. We can already recommend Shuka’s chicken shawarma and are most looking forward to trying Kimika’s menchi-katsu burger with duck fat-fried potatoes, Tomiño Taberno Gallega’s tapas assortment, and La Sirène’s cassoulet from Toulouse.
